The role

The role is primarily focused on regulatory compliance services and activities aligned with our client’s Information Governance services, with a global geographical scope. The focus of the position is to support clients in their regulatory compliance and data governance journey, by evaluating related industry standard and regulatory requirements and identify gaps between those in practice by client and propose roadmap for their deployment.

As part of the project team, you will be the conduit between business and technologist and will be responsible for supporting technologists to translate defined regulatory and compliance requirements into relevant technology solutions.

The position is expected to be directly billable on an hourly or fixed project fee basis with annual billable utilization targets applied individually and practice wide.

Responsibilities

  • Identify clients’ business and technology challenges in relation to regulatory standards and potential GAPs in their compliance process
  • Prepare a detailed workflow chart of how tasks progress in a certain department including specific regulatory impact
  • Clearly identify operational objectives for a certain department and measuring their throughput
  • Identifying bottlenecks, risks, dependencies, and where necessary designing modifications to remove these concerns and making recommendations for compliance process enhancements
  • Communicating with stakeholders and their representatives, to understand any discrepancies or trends
  • Collaborating with a technologist team to translate into relevant solutions
  • Engaging with clients’ stakeholders and presenting findings clearly and aligned with the clients’ understanding of the process
  • Provide active project support throughout the engagement’s life cycle, including coverage for peers
  • Collaborate with or provide general support to other information governance associates or 3rd party contractors to execute on project tasks
  • Perform administrative tasks that support the practice’s objectives, as assigned

 

Key skills & experience

  • Experience of practical application of Microsoft Purview portfolio such as: 
    • Information protection
    • Data Loss Prevention including End Point DLP, eDiscovery, Priva, Risk Management, Communication Compliance
  • Practical experience of Azure both in terms of infrastructure but also application integration and security portfolio, including Defender for Cloud and Cloud App, Endpoint Manager specifically Device management, Endpoint configuration, App configuration, Identify and Security
  • Working knowledge of Sentinel
  • Analytical mindsets and ability to spot patterns
  • Ability to assimilate large quantities of information, assess relevancy to defined purposes and translate into technology deliverables
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to work under time pressure and to deadlines
  • Work in collaboration with other colleagues and clients and business partners to leverage best practices and deliver results
  • Service Excellence and delivering on client’s objectives
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independent of direction for daily tasks
  • Strong IT skills and Microsoft applications

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Data Management, Security and Compliance experience
  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-400, AZ-900 and SC-900 would be highly desirable
  • Minimum BS/BA degree or experience in data governance management, security, or regulatory compliance
  • Proven experience in Azure and similar Infrastructure As a Service, Platform As a Service and Software As a Service
  • Your experience in regulated industries such as financial services will be highly advantageous but is not necessary if you have experience of other regulated industries
