The Role

Our client, a leading global advisory firm, is looking for a Valuations Senior Consultant to lead on engagements through to their delivery. These include various corporate finance related areas e.g. intangible assets and purchase price allocations, advising on impairment issues, portfolio company/asset valuations, financial instruments (these could include futures, options and various other instruments) and related fair value matters.

 

Skills/experience

  • Strong experience in valuations from (ideally) another professional services firm
  • Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques including: discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation techniques
  • Adept ability to interpret financial statements in the context of valuations
  • Strong business writing, analytical and excel modelling skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent academic background including a professional qualification in accountancy or other related financial discipline (e.g. ACA or CFA)
