Technology Graduate

Responsibilities:
 
Part of a multi-functional team that manages all areas related to the data collection, processing, analysis, conversions, QA, tracking, and management. This may involve:

•    Liaising with clients directly and project managers regarding client requests
•    Planning and executing data collections (may be from databases, emails etc.), on-site at client premises around the UK and overseas
•    Utilising industry software (FTK, EnCase etc., SQL scripting ability is also useful)
•    Assuming responsibility for day-to-day data processing, conversion, analysis, quality control
•    Co-ordinating with colleague to manage the delivery of client requests
•    Being customer-service-oriented, meeting client deadlines, includes working out of standard business hours when required
•    Travelling as required to ensure effective management of work (often on short notice)


Education and Qualifications:
 
•    Minimum 2:1 degree in either a law or a technology focused subject such as computer science, forensic computing or information systems, or similar. 
•    Strong A levels with numerical subjects useful


Skills and Competencies:
 
•    Technology focussed; a strong Microsoft Windows and related software, especially MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•    Self motivated, demonstrates an ability to provide solutions
•    Ability to manage time and prioritise 
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deadline driven, while multi-tasking
•    Strong communicator who can perform in a client facing role

Experience:

•    Familiarity with PC's and server hardware, OS's and software, possibly having some experience of working in a computer forensics, e-Discovery or technology related role
•    Knowledge of and experiencing in configuring and operating an eDiscovery tool would be a benefit (not essential) 
•    A good understanding of T-SQL and databases 
•    Knowledge of data manipulation, conversion, analysis in a SQL database and Access (useful)
•    Familiarity with email server software (Microsoft Exchange etc. (desirable not essential)
•    Knowledge of programming (one or more of: C#, C++, Java, Visual Basic, PERL, Python, VB) desirable
