Based in London Overview In the Risk Transformation practice at this firm we support our clients in finding solutions to their business challenges using a strategic risk lens. We approach enterprise risk management (ERM) as a critical component of business strategy and decision-making, and aid our clients in transitioning their risk functions to become business enablers who apply integrated risk methodologies to protect, grow and innovate their organisations.

Our key focus areas include: · Risk Strategy – creating a shared risk vision for the enterprise, creating a risk strategy to deliver the risk vision and providing a risk roadmap to guide this strategy ·

Risk Operating Model – developing target risk operating models covering risk framework, policies, procedures, controls, roles and capabilities, leadership, and digital enablers ·

Risk Management Framework – assisting in the articulation, implementation and embedding of an enterprise-wide risk management framework from the design through to core deliverable mapping to training and upskilling of relevant capabilities.

Our philosophy around risk management focuses on a holistic approach that breaks down organisational siloes. We work closely and effectively with our colleagues within the Digital and Risk Advisory Services department, including internal audit, controls, and third party assurance among others.

Responsibilities:  If you are passionate about risk management and interested in using innovative risk approaches to articulate solutions to clients’ commercial challenges, then we would love to hear from you. For this level, we would expect to see 2-4 years of risk management experience either in industry or professional services. The role comprises project delivery and business development, with an element of supporting senior team members in developing the broader service proposition and risk methodologies.

Project delivery: you will be part of the end-to-end delivery team for risk management and risk transformation projects. You will be expected to support senior team members in project delivery. This may include, but is not limited to, document and process review, interviews with key stakeholders, facilitated workshops, report writing, reporting to Boards and Audit and Risk Committees. We are a collaborative team and will provide interactive training on areas where you may have less experience to enable you for success in the role.

Business development – RFPs, Knowledge of the design and delivery of Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and/or Risk Maturity Assessment (RMA) Provision of support in the delivery of risk training and awareness programmes for clients and internal stakeholders Some experience in developing and review of risk reporting, risk dashboards, governance reporting and presenting key themes and industry trends in client meetings Project delivery skills Strong report writing skills Comfortable delivering under pressure across multiple projects Strong planning organising and coordinating skills with focus on multitasking and time management Ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to different styles of engagements Personal impact Positive personal impact that enables you to build strong stakeholder relationships – Actively cultivate and maintain client and key stakeholder relationships Working effectively as a collaborative team member within a small, but high-performing team
