Litera and Intapp Experience Management Analyst

About the job

Our client has a market-leading experience management ("EM") practice and works closely with law firms to develop strategy and deployment roadmaps tied to the firms' requirements and business objectives.

You will be an integral part of our experience management practice. They support strategy and planning for deployment, baseline and complex implementations of Litera’s Foundation and Intapp's OnePlace for Experience Management solution, and continuous improvement.

The practice also provides data assessment and analysis services.



  • a genuine interest/experience in EM within the legal industry
  • experience of working with teams that use EM solutions or product providers
  • a good understanding of the work of law firms
  • the ability and willingness to work effectively across multiple projects within a fast-paced consulting environment


Job Responsibilities

  • Support colleagues in the delivery of successful projects, including the implementation and extension of EM programs at firms. This will include:
    • attending and participating in client meetings
    • client deliverables
    • data analysis and mapping activities
    • data integration, conversion, and extraction projects to ensure that data is transferred and validated
    • configuring and documenting EM systems and workflows
    • assisting with the development of system governance models and procedures
    • managing tasks, deliverables, and project plans
    • supporting the UAT phase in client projects by contributing to and developing testing scripts for client use
    • participating in change management efforts by contributing to end-user communications
  • Maintain EM product through:
    • an in-depth understanding of EM leading practices,
    • monitoring and evaluating unique and emerging use cases,
    • reviewing and reporting on solution provider release notes and roadmaps,
    • building and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the functionality, usability, and configuration processes within EM solutions, and
    • contributing to discussions about potential updates to delivery methodologies
  • Support colleagues developing data architectures, data governance programs, data schemas, and taxonomies
  • Contribute to the development of Company’s EM and adjacent offerings
  • Participate in EM team meetings and assist with project management responsibilities related to internal projects
  • Occasional travel may be necessary

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility and confidently target messaging for varied audiences

Experience and qualifications:

  • A professional services industry and technical background is expected. 2-4 years of experience working with (or consulting on) technology and data used by business support functions within a law firm (or other professional services firm)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience supporting EM or similar data-driven solutions, and a basic understanding of their associated use cases and technical architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working with a range of project stakeholders, including service providers
  • Familiarity with data, data lifecycles, and use cases for data within a professional services organisation, preferably a law firm


  • Familiarity with advanced Microsoft Word functionality, including styles and document templates, is desired
  • Familiarity with document management systems, new matter intake systems, or enterprise search platforms, is desired
  • A basic understanding of database design and data processing is desired
  • A basic understanding of the critical success criteria for experience management programs and solutions is desired
