Director – Financial Services Data Analytics

 Key Responsibilities

You will come from a top Advisory firm e.g. Big4 or similar. You will have the experience to lead teams, manage clients and assignments, grow business in a commercial and champion brand awareness.  A strong leader, with the intellectual curiosity to actively pursue new knowledge in the rapidly changing world of big data. You’ll need a strong background in the various data analytics and data science tools to complete a data analytics project.

Skills - Client Facing Management and BD

Develop and maintain close relationships with clients/C Suite executives.Stay informed of the client's industry, business trends and emerging technologies.Advise clients on a comprehensive range of issues during forensic and regulatory investigations in relation to financial crime, corruption, Fraud, Regulatory Compliance, Litigation and support them, Market Abuse, Sales Practice violations, Claims and Disputes, Anti Bribery and Corruption, and information theft and other offenses.Direct clients, fraud investigators, auditors, lawyers and regulatory authorities with a strategy re sensitive situations.Contribute to business development by generating new business opportunities through the preparation of proposals for new client work, draft responses, participating in the proposals and build relationships.Develop business development initiatives, go to market campaigns, sales, engagement delivery and knowledge management with a proven experience of achieving sales targets of several million per year.

Delivery and Management

Review the work prepared by the team to ensure that it meets standards and the client’s expectation.Monitor engagement progress to mitigate risk and resolve any issues that may arise during the project. Ensure successful completion of projects (within timescales and budget).Contribute to performance feedback, training and conduct performance reviews.Lead the development of training, recruiting, resourcing projects, and/or other practice-wide needs.Participate in the growth of the team and wider practice, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other team members.Create a positive work and learning culture while enabling diversity in though by being a Diversity.Define best practices, processes, and standards to ensure measurable improvement in value, effectiveness, efficiency and quality of services delivered to and for the clients.

Financial Services sector, focused on financial crime, forensics, fraud, legal and regulatory complianceEnd to end data analytics and data science life cycle including data discovery, ETL, data analysis/machine learning and data visualisation/reportingLeading large and complex data programmes and innovating reusable tech solutionDeveloping and mentoring Data Science teams
