Computer Forensic Senior Consultant/Team Leader

Overview:

Our client a global Digital Forensic and eDiscovery firm require a Team Leader re the collection and preparation of data for the E-Discovery process. You will work with internal stakeholders and external clients as a consult and advice on data collections.  You will have practical forensic data collection and data consultancy experience in a corporate environment. You will manage the UK and European Computer Forensic Teams.  You will carry out full forensic analysis (from collection through to analysis and reporting) using industry standard tools such as EnCase, FTK etc. or a plus is NUIX.

The role will also include providing technical advice to the team and working with other teams internally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Acting under the direction of the Digital Forensic Manager you will provide forensic and

collection services throughout Europe and internationally if required.

Provide leadership and day-to-day management, allocate resource and mentorProvide expert witness services for Court.Gather requirements from key stakeholders and work with the project teams to provide a

costing estimates and a suitable data collection plan.

Work in close collaboration with other technical and non-technical teams re forensic data collection, preparation and reporting.Work with Business Development/Marketing teams and present on forensic matters to small

as a subject matter expert when required

During the E-Discovery process, provide technical support on any data issues.Provide full forensic analysis of data away from the E-Discovery process (if required) and

present findings in report format to clients.

Communicate with a wide variety of individuals, such as clients, lawyers, auditors and

regulatory bodies. This may require attendance at criminal or civil courts to present findings.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Management experience preferred.A proven track record in corporate digital forensic in all elements of scoping, providing

cost estimates, performing data collections and data processing.

Experienced in providing Expert Witness work for Court.Experience of using EnCase, FTK or equivalent essential. Experience of NUIX is a plus.

Strong understanding of networks and email solutions.Good academic background and highly IT literate.Proven ability to explain complex commercial, data and analytical issues in non-technical

language producing high quality reports and correspondence.

Ideally consultancy experience or ability to offer a consultative approach

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to travel both domestically and Overseas (can be at short notice).Willingness to be on-call (this is split fairly across the teams ad can include weekend work or public holidays- compensation is provided.

Willingness to work outside normal working hours when required
